I had one of those moments last evening with uncontrollable laughter.
It was rejuvenating.
As if a small piece of me was awoken.
It is neither here nor there WHAT exactly I was laughing about...late night shenanigans with a close friend.
Rolling in tears with wheezing giggles it reminded me that LIFE is a lot about the small things. Enjoy the small things for they create how you come off in the bigger things of life.

Bat those LASHES

Purchasing makeup has always had its perks to me, even since I was a young child. I remember my Aunt giving me her free bags with testers in it from Lancome, ummm dress up HEAVEN. I thought to myself, WOW when you grow up you get free goodie bags by just buying a perfume...now that's cool..you don't even have to attend a party!?! Well, now that I'm cool enough to purchase makeup, with a purpose, I get the goodies too! And thanks to Sephora, at my recent shop/splurge/IT'S FOR WORK I promise, I came across my new mascara of the moment.

My mini mascara tester that Sephora gave me for FREE has now got me addicted! Make Up For Ever's Smoky Lash is an amazingly ultra-pigmented, lengthening & volume enhancing mascara. It is (as far as I'm aware & google can tell me) is a Sephora exclusive product from Make Up For Ever. To purchase a regular size tube it goes for $25, which I would say is about an average price for a good mascara...smack dab between my FAV MAC False Lash & Lancome Hypnose.

Hopefully this helps some of you on a hunt for a new VOLUME building, LASH batting, Smoky eye mascara.

Really what more do I have to say than AMAZING.

Day & Night.

Meaning I use this as my daytime facial moisturizer as well as a evening one.

This is my GO 2 GAL. 

Who knew that this organically grown lightweight oil could do such wonders for my skin. 

For the past few years my Momma has been getting really into proper products. The issue for her is how every product we (aka ME as a makeup artist) use seeps into our skin. But with wonderful all natural products, such as this Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil, there isn't that concern. 

This product has been keeping my skin in a happy place. I haven't been having that irritating random cystic acne appear and my rosiness has tamed down! (YAY)

Experiencing LIFE..as a Freelance Artist

It has been a whirlwind week!

     Beginning with a beautiful wedding of a dear friend and WRAPn' it up with a music video.

Between these experiences my other clients consisted of a University Graduate (CONGRATULATIONS!), a STUNNING dear BTB (Bride to Be), local Vancouver actress who was a presenter for the Leo Awards, a close friend, Fashion Show BABES & a music video.

     This is what I call FUN!

Daphne Groeneveld, at the ripe age of 17 years old, hosts quite the resume to date....cover of Vogue with Tom Ford could say enough.

This young lady has a ever lasting impression on me, with one of my FAV pics of all time (as seen above). The shot, by photographers Mert & Marcus, for Vogue Paris 2010 "girl with rose in mouth" has been my screen saver and WISH I HAD picture for a while...well I guess at least TWO years. babeOlicious
